Tiger Shark in Mahogany
Tiger Shark in Mahogany
These large, blunt-nosed predators have a duly earned reputation as man-eaters. They are second only to great whites in attacking people. But because they have a near completely undiscerning palate, they are not likely to swim away after biting a human, as great whites frequently do.*
This sculpture is finished on one side and is made of machined and polished 1/8" Aluminum and African Mahogany. The mahogany has been dyed with water based dyes and then finished with water based lacquer. Dyes instead of stains are used to prevent clouding the beautiful grains and patterns of the wood. (The back is flat black)
This fish is 1 and 3/8" thick, 48" long and 16 " high and comes with all the necessary hardware to hang it on the wall.
This piece is also available in lengths up to 6 feet.
