Makos can swim at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, making them the fastest of all sharks. This piece captures that sense of speed. Its graceful, slender body, along with the raked fin and tail, enhances this impression of swiftness. The transparent hues of the fish allow the long grain of the wood to show through, emphasizing its dynamic nature.

Each piece in this series shares the same body shape but has a unique color pattern, ensuring that every piece is one of a kind. The body is made from soft maple, a sustainable hardwood sourced from the USA. The transparent colors are blended in a resin that is completely VOC-free. All necessary hardware for hanging this artwork is included.
