Sailfish are prized as game fish. These powerful, streamlined beasts can grow to more than 10 feet and weigh up to 220 pounds. When hooked, they will fight vigorously, leaping and diving repeatedly, and sometimes taking hours to land.*

This piece is constructed of three layers of laminated African Mahogany and 6061 aluminum. The mahogany is dyed instead of stained which allows the wood characteristics to show through and is then coated with acrylic lacquer. The aluminum is cut and then polished to a mirror finish. This Sailfish is large... approximately 72" long, 27" high and 2 1/8" thick

The wood can be cleaned with a damp rag and the metal can be polished with aluminum polish if needed; however, because of the high degree of polishing, the metal should not require additional polishing.

The metal parts are attached with screws and can be removed if required. The pieces come complete with metal hangers to secure it to the wall.
